  Team Genesis, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization headquartered in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was founded to accomplish the following goals: - To teach the art of basketball and other sports with the purpose of maximizing the athletic potential of participants in the area of their careers, academic aspirations, and the attainment of their personal goals.
- To network and partner with other athletic organizations on a local, regional, national, and international level and with professional, collegiate, and amateur level athletes for the athletic development of promising athletes.
- To initiate and support community-based mentorship opportunities, support programs, humanitarian activities, rehabilitation and prevention programs, positive recreational opportunities, and educational programs.

 This initiative funds Team Genesis' most significant move yet--a facility to function as the international headquarters for our organization. The proposed facility can house administrative offices, dorm facilities for students of the Gifted Athletes Program, a gymnasium for use by the Gifted Athletes Program, the Opportunity League, Skills Training and sports camps, and classroom space and a testing center for use by the Gifted Athletes Program, and in the afternoons and evenings for the Books and Ball Program.
The core function of Team Genesis depends on access to athletic facilities. With the purchase of the proposed facility comes a location for the offices of our headquarters as well as a location to house all Team Genesis programs. Learn more
